We have in excess of 30 years’ experience in dealing with planning applications, Change of Use applications, Variation of Condition applications and Certificate of Lawful Use applications, and can advise on all aspects of the planning process.

A significant part of the Planning Process now involves the preparation of Design and Access Statements, these are now a National Requirement. Lambe Planning & Design place great emphasis upon the detailed preparation of these documents incorporating both written and visual images.

Our work includes the detailed design and drafting of plans and masterplans, outlining the layout and design of a site and use of land for planning applications and for construction. Many of these schemes involve sensitive sites or projects which are contrary to restrictive Planning Policy.

We also carry out feasibility and evaluation reports, including reports on Planning and the environmental and financial aspects of a proposed scheme.

Many schemes and planning applications also require the preparation of Visual Impact Assessments, Demand Statements, Business Plans and Topographical Surveys. Where appropriate we can incorporate and undertake these required elements.

We understand that the success of many planning applications – particularly those involving sensitive sites – lies in the thorough initial background research, careful detailed preparation and high quality presentation of plans and supporting material, even before the application is submitted to the local planning authority.

Our approach also includes pre-application consultation and liaison with planning officers and representatives of other statutory bodies including the Environment Agency, Highways, and Parish & Community Councils to resolve in advance any potentially difficult issues.

Lambe Planning and Design specialise in working with caravan, lodge park and chalet park owners in seeking planning permission for new sites and the upgrading and restructuring facilities on existing parks and also offer expertise in all aspects of planning work.
